Where Creativity Meets Success

Empowering students for a brighter future.

I have been teaching elementary students for almost  40 years. And even though I recently retired from full-time classroom teaching, I still love tutoring students in small groups or individually.

I have a multiple subject elementary credential and have had lots of experience with reading intervention programs. As a classroom teacher, I taught in both public and private schools. I also spent five years homeschooling my own children.

I am able to be the “support person” for your child’s weekly school work, provide instruction on a new topic, or develop enrichment courses to supplement their current curriculum. You can decide what will best meet your child’s academic needs and goals and we will work together to help them meet those goals.

I look forward to meeting you and your child and helping them continue to grow and thrive academically.

My tutoring approach leans towards a students individual learning styles, challenges, strengths and weaknesses.

I love to incorporate hands on learning whenever possible, and find creative ways to teach and reinforce content.

One of my goals is to help students gain the tools they need to be academically successful, and in the process help them to develop a love for learning.
